The new UBC Student Union Building is LEED Platinum and will be extremely energy efficient once construction is completed. The SUB building is designed with minimizing consumption and with natural ventilation and daylight are measures of a list of plans that are integral to this low energy building. Rain water will be collected as one of the means to reduce water use considerably on the project.
